Honey isn’t just sweet, it’s also quite good for you. In fact, it’s quite a bit more healthy than regular sugar. This info-graphic is loaded with fascinating factoids about the health benefits of honey, beeswax and other products created bees.

Honey can help reduce allergies, provide a natural energy boost, soothe sore throats, reduce ulcers and more. Royal jelly, the food the bees feed to the queen, is also leaded with benefits, as it can lower cholesterol, encourage brain growth and prevent Parkinson’s disease. Even boring, old beeswax (which is generally just used for candle making) has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-viral benefits.

With all the great things bees can do for you, remember to try to be nice to the bees in return. Don’t kill or harm bees when you see them, just calmly and slowly move away.
